303' Explorer Vessel, ex. NOAA Flag Ship
These vessels are exiting projects due to the special features and the volume of the vessels. 40 years of service with top maintenance has also shown the seaworthyness of the ships!

The present propulsion system allows for top speeds of 20 knots, and an economical cruise speed of 12 knots. Smooth running diesel electric at shaft speeds of 150 rpm offer extremely quiet operation with low vibration yet maximum control down to increments of 5 rpm

Features such as large hydraulic handling for off shore mooring and tremendous watertight integrity set this “workhorse” apart from most vessels even constructed today. Built to government specifications, far superior to any commercial standards, these ships offer the ideal foundation for an explorer vessel unparalleled in strength, safety and quality.

The design challenge is to retain the unique features and the authentic spirit of the vessel whilst transforming the internal organization, systems and style. In this sense, this project is both about the creation of one of the largest private explorer yachts and an exquisitely elegant home on the high seas.

Most importantly, this project is about experiencing freedom at an unparalleled level: A non-stop trip around the world with family and
friends, an exploration cruise up the Amazon River, a personal remote office linked by helicopter, or simply a base for relaxation - there are no limits to the use. Constructed with the latest technical systems and an exceptional range of accessories, the ship will provide a yachting experience that evokes ultimate
style and comfort.

There is an exciting opportunity for a visionary owner to create a completely bespoke home and one of the most striking mega yachts of today...

We sold this vessel in 2008 and now can offer her again. She had substantial work carried out since but due to a change in plans is now for sale again. We know the vessel very well and can advise about all details.
